The countdown is on for the Ontario Aquaculture Association Grower Gathering in Parry Sound this August 16 & 17.

Please join us for two days of informal social and strategy time with other producers. Feel free to bring your staff and colleagues, as all owners, managers, and aquaculture technicians from OAA member companies are invited to participate.

Here’s what we have planned for social time:

• Golf Tournament & Dinner, Deer Run Golf Course (August 17 afternoon/evening)
• Tailgater Social, Brunswick Grill & Bar (August 16 evening)

And then help steer the strategic direction of the industry:

• We’re asking you to bring your ideas and experiences for a discussion about the future of Ontario’s farmed seafood industry. The roundtables will take place on the afternoon of August 16 and morning of August 17.
• Together we’ll create a road-map for the sector, looking forward to the next 10 years. And everything is on the table — land-based farms, net-pen farms, trout, shrimp, alternative species, science and research, Indigenous partnerships, education campaigns, and more.
• This road-map will influence our advocacy and education agendas, and help the association continue our mandate of growing and strengthening Ontario’s aquaculture industry.
